DUTY STATION : Yaoundé, Cameroon
DURATION OF CONTRACT : 3 months and renewable
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was
established as a government-funded agency dedicated to grant aid programs in
April 1991. KOICA Endeavors to combat Poverty and support Socio- Economic
growth of partner countries. In doing so, KOICA establishes and strengthens
friendly ties with developing countries.
SCOPE OF WORK
(Assist) WFK Volunteer Program
Assist WFK program manager with various tasks related to volunteer
activities, Local Adaptation Training, Volunteer workshop, settlement of
volunteers, Demand Survey of organizations, communication with
organizations, and so on
Collaborate with other volunteering organizations and associations through
the partnership of “Plateforme des Acteurs de Volontariats au Cameroun”
(PLAVOLCAM); Attend a meeting with other volunteers organizations (e.g.:
International volunteers day)
Administrative tasks
Korean staff’s and volunteer’s visa, residence card(diplomatic/special
card) Follow-up international shipments with transit companies(AGS, HLOG,
etc.)
Follow-up customs clearance and shipment
Prepare and request VAT reimbursement
Send/collect mails and parcels via DHL, UPS, Post Office, etc.
Deal with banking issues
Weekly/Monthly budget request and management Accommodation/lease for
Korean staffs
Make task instructions related to each administrative process
Support a business trip( accommodation booking, car rentals, etc.
Insurance and medical checkups for local staff
Renewal health insurance for local staff
File a claim for local staff(when they need) Organize annual medical
checkups
Vehicles
Registration and renewal of vehicles
Return CD and IT plates to MINREX
Follow-up insurance for cars
Keep documents concerning office vehicles
Perform any other duties as required
PREREQUISITES
Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field
Advanced degree is an advantage.
At least 5 years related working experience in the relevant field
Working experience with other Donor organisations, agencies is an
advantage.
Mastery or adequate fluency in English and French particularly in written
documents
Computer proficiency, related to professional office software packages
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
CONDITIONS OF SERVICES
Remuneration will be based on the criteria
according to the prevailing local market rates and based on KOICA Cameroon
Office’s internal remuneration calculation system. In addition, it can be
adjusted based on the applicant’s experiences.
