Position Overview
As a Software Development Project Manager at INNOVATIVE CLAN, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution. Provide timely and transparent reporting on project status, highlighting potential risks and proposing solutions.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project delivery. Work closely with team leads to ensure that team members have the necessary tools, training, and support to meet project objectives. Track and manage team capacity, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Conduct regular reviews of project deliverables to ensure they meet established quality standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the development team.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress. Manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed their expectations. Solicit and incorporate feedback from clients to enhance future project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (1+ years) in project management, specifically in software development. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience working in a startup environment.
