Position Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer at Innovative Clan, you will play a key role in enhancing our development and deployment processes, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices, streamline workflows, and maintain a robust and efficient development pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation:
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef. Automate deployment processes to streamline software releases and minimize downtime. Continuously evaluate and enhance automation scripts and configurations.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery. Collaborate with development teams to optimize build processes and deployment workflows. Implement and manage deployment strategies for different environments (development, testing, production).
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address system issues. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks to ensure scalability. Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide DevOps support. Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Provide documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure the broader team is well-informed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (1+ years) as a DevOps Engineer in a software development environment. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, or others. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices.
