Moroccan museums open doors for free to inspire youth pride and cultural connection

Museums across Morocco opened their doors for free final Thursday, specializing in younger folk to support them connect with their tradition and heritage.

The initiative used to be section of the 4th Evening of Museums and Cultural Spaces, held below the theme “Moroccan Youth, Guardians of Tomorrow’s Heritage.”

The Nationwide Basis of Museums, which organized the match, signed two agreements with the Ministries of Education and Bigger Education. The offers aim to raise tradition into colleges, reinforce free museum visits for students, lecturers, and researchers, and promote heritage analysis and academic projects.”

And “The Caftan of Yesterday, Seen Today” at the Nationwide Museum of Adornment, highlighting the history of the Moroccan caftan and its influence on smartly-liked trend.

Curator Amine Boushaba mentioned the aim of the caftan exhibition is “learning to be proud of one’s roots.”
