The workers for the tv anime of Yūgo Kobayashi‘s Fermat no Ryōri (Cuisson dans le Fermat or Fermat’s Cuisine) manga printed a brand fresh visual and main promotional video on Sunday. The video previews the opening theme tune.

The anime will debut on tv on July 5 on TV Asahi and its affiliates. The anime will air on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. in the “IMAnimation” programming block.
The anime’s cast participants include:
- Ryōsuke Shirakawa as Gaku Kitada
- Taito Ban as Kai Asakura
- Daichi Endō as Hotei Katsuya
- Takuma Nagatsuka as Milo Vivia
- Natsu Yorita as Ranna Akamatsu
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Magoroku Inui
- Haruna Ikezawa as Nene Fukuda
- Anna Nagase as Ayu Uomi
- Shion Wakayama as Kagura Musashi
- Makoto Furukawa as Ichitarō Hirose
Takeshi Okamoto and Satsuki Kashiwagi are the executive administrators for the anime. Miyuki Kaieda is the assistant director. The Domerica studio is producing the anime, and is also credited for sequence composition and scriptwriting. Takeshi Okamoto and Satsuki Kashiwagi are designing the characters. Satoshi Igarashi is composing the tune. Mari Takada is the artwork director, while Kumi Satō is credited for artwork setting. Ami Watanabe is the color key artist. Koji Yamakoshi and Mayumi Kamada are the compositing administrators. Asuka Fukada is the CG director. Satoshi Motoyama is the sound director. The sound Studio Kanon is credited for sound manufacturing.
Solo artist OSHIKIKEIGO will gain the opening theme tune “Maillard.” The six-member boy band DXTEEN will gain the anime’s ending theme tune “Change Over.”
The manga centers on Gaku Kitada, a talented mathematics student, and Kai Asakura, a young but equally talented chef. After Gaku suffers setbacks on his dream of becoming a mathematician, he meets Kai as he is running his possess meals business, and joins Kai in an strive at something fresh.
Kobayashi (Aoashi) launched the manga in Kodansha‘s Month-to-month Shonen Magazine in September 2018. Kodansha printed the manga’s fifth volume on April 30, and the manga has 23 million copies in circulation.
