Morning time introduced at some stage in an anniversary screening for the Yoroiden Samurai Troopers anime at Shinjuku Piccadilly on Wednesday that the series is getting a original sequel anime Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers in January 2026. The crew unveiled a teaser trailer and visual:

Yōichi Fujita (Gintama, Mr. Osomatsu) is directing the original anime at Morning time. Shōgo Mutō (Crows Zero) is guilty of the script and series composition. Hajime Yatate, the collective penname for the ingenious crew at Morning time, is credited with the customary story. The persona designers comprise Yūhei Murota (Cherish Dwell!) for predominant characters, Tsukasa Kotoboki (MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN MSD Cucuruz Doan’s Island) for villains, Hideo Okamoto (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers) for customary Yoroi Gear acquire, and Takuya Suzuki (Mettlesome King GaoGaiGar Final Tall Lovely Gathering) for bright Yoroi Gear acquire. Shūji Katayama (Overlord) is composing the music.
The original anime takes set in narrate-day Shinjuku and tells the story of 5 boys who don Yoroi Gear samurai armor to war the demon emperor Arago.

Bandai Entertainment beforehand launched the series on DVD, and Discotek Media launched the fleshy series on DVD with English subtitles in 2015. Discotek also launched the Samurai Troopers OVA series with both English and Jap audio. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
