Unique brand to point of interest on original animation works
Toei Animation published on Thursday it is a ways launching a brand original original animation brand referred to as Eterna Animation, in birthday party of the studio’s Seventieth anniversary in 2026.

Toei Animation acknowledged regarding the original firm:
Via Eterna Animation, the firm will set aside a sustainable inventive platform dedicated to the ongoing manufacturing of original works. The initiative moreover locations a solid point of interest on discovering and nurturing emerging inventive talents as part of a next-generation animation undertaking model.
[…] The emblem name “ETERNA” (meaning “eternal”) shows Toei Animation‘s aspiration to assemble works that linger deeply in the hearts and memories of viewers. Guided by five core inventive values—Originality, Exclusivity, Artistry, Quality, and Decency—the emblem seeks to recount original tales, highlight original voices, and explore expressive original kinds of animation with inventive freedom and lasting emotional impact.

Along with the original brand, Toei Animation published the first original work in the original brand: FOXING: Kitsuné-tsuki. Toei Animation describes the short film:
The yarn explores in model topics such as isolation, fantasy, and the confrontation of the self in contemporary society. It poetically and visually depicts the protagonist’s emotional transformation as she journeys toward deepest liberation.
Takeru Shinozuka is directing the short film in his industrial directorial debut. Yoshihide Moriyama is producing the short film.
Eterna Animation will introduce the short film at the MIFA Skills Panel during the Annecy International Animation Film Competition this month. The session will original pre-manufacturing materials with every Shinozuka and Moriyama appearing on stage.
The short film will release in 2026.
