The Instagram page for the “Wamono Nights” movie collection introduced on Thursday that the 1992 anime movie Tomcat’s Mountainous Adventure (Chibineko Tom no Daibōken – Chikyū o Sukue! Nakama-tachi) will indulge in its second North American screening at The Beacon in Seattle, WA on June 15 at 5:00 p.m.
The movie made its North American premiere on the Texas Theatre in Dallas, TX on April 14. The movie screened in Japanese with English subtitles as section of the “Wamono Nights” movie collection.
Ryūtarō Nakamura (Serial Experiments Lain, Kino’s Scamper) directed the 82-minute movie and wrote the script. Manabu Ōhashi (Robotic Carnival) changed into once the animation director and persona dressmaker. Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell) easy the tune. Hiromasa Ogura (Ninja Scroll) changed into once the art director. Animators included Toshiyuki Inoue, Hiroyuki Okiura, Kōichi Arai, and Makiko Futaki.
The movie is basically based mostly mostly on Masumi Iino‘s children’s books. It has had miniature availability even within Japan. The epic products and companies on Tom and his guests as they embark on an adventure at Mt. Pinto to construct the arena on their summer season vacation.
The movie stars Toshiko Fujita as Tom, Masako Nozawa as Label, Mika Kanai as Laura, Minami Takayama as Alex, Ryoko Sano as Amy, and Ryūsei Nakao as Bob, Akio Ōtsuka as Leonis, Chika Sakamoto as Tiki, Hiromi Tsuru as Chloe, Kappei Yamaguchi as Michael, Katsunosuke Hori as Break of day, Nobuo Tobita as Rudo, and Yūko Kobayashi as Lamaru.
