The Sudanese military says the paramilitary Instant Toughen Forces own launched their first drone attack on the eastern metropolis of Port Sudan. The RSF targeted Osman Digna Air Base, an ammunition depot, and civilian services and products advance the airport, in step with the protection power.
Hurt has been reported, but no casualties to this level. Flights interior and out of Port Sudan own been suspended. One passenger airplane from Dubai changed into once forced to divert and land in Saudi Arabia after the strike.
The attack marks a deadly shift, hitting a metropolis once considered as a staunch zone. Port Sudan had change into the de facto seat of authorities and a refuge for displaced people since battle erupted between the military and RSF in 2023.
