Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has reaffirmed her arrangement to discuss over with her constituency for the Sallah celebrations, undeterred by the unique prohibition on rallies and public events.

She pushed aside circulating rumour suggesting she had cancelled the deliberate discuss over with, urging her supporters to put out of your mind such claims.

In an reliable assertion launched by her media team early Tuesday, Akpoti-Uduaghan assured the overall public that her discuss over with remained on schedule.

Her affirmation of the debate over with comes lawful hours after the Kogi Tell Government imposed a ban on rallies and public gatherings, citing safety concerns.

The authorities moreover suspended fishing and varied activities, following incidents that led to the deaths of two people in Kasemiya, Katubo, and Umozu Ette, all in Kogi Local Government Tell.

In an announcement on Monday, the command’s Commissioner for Files, Kingsley Fanwo, defined that the measures were implemented to prevent any seemingly threats to public safety.

Fanwo further acknowledged that intelligence stories suggested obvious people were planning to “stage some violent rallies in the guise of political and religious agitations” in Kogi Central.
