Kujira stars as stepmother Teru Kōnokura in anime by NEWON
An online build opened on Tuesday to speak the tv anime adaptation of Otsuji‘s My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Sinister (Ibitte Konai Gibo to Gishi) manga (the Japanese manga and anime write the English title as: My mother-in-rules and sister-in-rules who don’t bully me.), which is ready to premiere in 2026. The rep build printed the anime’s teaser visual, main solid, employees, and announcement video.

Keisuke Inoue (My Subsequent Existence as a Villainess: All Routes Consequence in Doom!, Ao-chan Cannot Behold!, Stage 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero) is directing the anime at NEWON. Nanami Hoshino (Hokkaido Gals Are Easy Adorable!, Mission: Yozakura Family episode scripts) is in phrase of series scripts, and Mutsumi Sasaki (Chaos;HEAd, Laid-Aid Camp, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~) is designing the characters.
