Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that this would possibly increasingly originate streaming the English dub for the anime of Naru Narumi‘s Watari-kun’s ****** Is About to Crumple (Watari-kun no xx ga Hōkaisunzen) manga on Friday.
The English dub stars:
- Abi Kumar as Naoto
- Kelly Greenshield as Ishihara
- Sarah Roach as Satsuki
- Jad Saxton as Suzu
- Robin Clayton as Sukekiyo
- Ariel Graham as Tamayo
- Daryl Mayfield as Tokui
- Nia Celeste as Naoto (Younger)
Helena Walstrom is directing the dub. Samantha Herek is producing. Matthew Greenbaum is credited for the difference. Seth Aulds is the engineer.
The anime debuted on Tokyo MX on July 4. Crunchyroll is streaming the sequence as it airs.
Takashi Naoya (Am I In fact the Strongest?, Exact Woman, Übel Blatt) is directing the anime at Staple Entertainment with Matsuo Asami (Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, Gintama episode director) as the assistant director. Tatsuya Takahashi (World’s Stop Harem, Eromanga Sensei) is guilty of the sequence scripts, and Tetsuya Yamada (Am I In fact the Strongest?, Übel Blatt) is writing the scripts with director Naoya. Shōko Yasuda (Am I In fact the Strongest?, Elated Sugar Lifestyles) is designing the characters and serving as a chief animation director alongside with Yukiyo Komito (Am I In fact the Strongest?), Toshimitsu Kobayashi (Destiny/protect evening), and Taeko Ōgi (Übel Blatt). Nonoka Suzuki (Tales of Marriage ceremony Rings 2nd key animation) is designing the costumes, and Chie Yamazaki (Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne special outcomes) is designing the props.
Yuika performs the outlet theme tune “Yuurei ni Naritai” (I Need to be a Ghost), and Pedro performs ending theme tune “Ai Ai Ai Ai AI” (Admire Admire Admire Admire Admire).
Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga digitally and describes the story:
Naoto Watari has had his piece of struggles: his folks died two years ago, and now he and his sister are residing at his aunt’s home. There, his desire to protect his sister earned him notoriety as “the guy with the sister complex”—which by no scheme mattered to him, as his sister at all times got here first. But when Satsuki, a childhood buddy-became-enemy(?), turns into his college mate, Naoto’s typical life is thrown into chaos … and Satsuki would per chance also merely good be the starting up.
Narumi launched the manga in Kadokawa‘s Younger Ace magazine in August 2014. The manga moved its serialization to Month-to-month Younger Journal in November 2015. The manga ended September 2023. Kodansha printed the 16th and closing compiled book volume in November 2023.
