The federal authorities has declared Tuesday a public vacation in honour of uninteresting President Muhammadu Buhari.

This used to be disclosed by the interior minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, according to an announcement by the ministry.

“President Muhammadu Buhari served Nigeria with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the cohesion and growth of our massive nation. This public vacation offers a chance for all Nigerians to reflect on his life, leadership, and the values he upheld,” the minister stated.

PREMIUM TIMES studies that Mr Buhari died on Sunday at a London medical institution following a extended illness.

He is expected to be buried in Daura, Katsina Allege, on Tuesday after his body is brought serve to Nigeria.

In furtherance to the seven days of Nationwide mourning declared by President Bola Tinubu, the Federal Authorities has declared Tuesday, 15 July, as a Public Holiday in honour of the uninteresting primitive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Authorities, following the approval of Mr Tinubu on Monday, an announcement issued by the ministry stated.

The Minister acknowledged that the vacation is a imprint of appreciate for the uninteresting President’s service to the nation, his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic whisk, and his enduring legacy in governance and national pattern.

“President Muhammadu Buhari served Nigeria with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the cohesion and growth of our massive nation. This public vacation offers a chance for all Nigerians to reflect on his life, leadership, and the values he upheld,” the Minister stated.

He instructed voters to make train of the day to honour the uninteresting President’s memory by promoting peace, patriotism, and national brotherly love, in line alongside with his imaginative and prescient for a prosperous and united Nigeria.

As earlier introduced, the Nationwide flags are to hover at half mast for the seven days of mourning period from Sunday thirteenth July, 2025.

The Federal Authorities extends its deepest condolences to the family of the uninteresting President, the other folks of Katsina Allege, and all Nigerians, while praying for the aloof repose of his soul.
