Nestlé Zimbabwe has ramped up native manufacturing of its standard flagship breakfast cereal, CEREVITA, in response to a fascinating extend in user quiz at some level of the country.

This manufacturing enhance follows the corporate’s newest announcement of a US$7 million funding geared toward expanding its native operations by adding but every other roller dryer at its manufacturing plant.

“This investment is not just about production infrastructure — it’s about long-term nourishment, empowerment and pride in a product that reflects our local taste, our local grain, and our local spirit,” said Nicole Roos, Managing Director and Chairperson of Nestlé East and Southern Africa Station.

The extend in manufacturing is piece of the corporate’s broader technique to enhance meals safety, pork up native manufacturing, and draw sure consistent availability of its products on the market.

With the newly commissioned Roller Drier 4 now totally operational, Nestlé Zimbabwe has boosted its manufacturing capacity by over 35%, greatly bettering product availability whereas upholding the ticket’s renowned standards of safety, quality, and consistency.

The funding also reinforces Nestlé’s commitment to native economic empowerment via its Virtuous Circle model, which promotes sustainable sourcing and inclusive boost. Nestlé continues to work with extra than 350 Zimbabwean suppliers and 18 native farmers, whereas supporting a team that choices 149 corpulent-time workers, 268 informal crew, and eight graduate trainees who win training each twelve months.

With CEREVITA now reaching Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique markets, Nestlé Zimbabwe is positioning the country as a regional breakfast cereal leader.
