Namibia made a compelling case for funding at the “Invest in Namibia” Discussion board, held on 24 June 2025 in Luanda, Angola, as section of the 17th USA-Africa Industry Summit. Her Excellency President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah delivered a highly effective keynote, highlighting Namibia’s constitutional dedication to a blended economic system, job creation, and inclusive pattern. “Namibia stands ready for you to bring your investment, Namibia stands ready for you to work with us in addressing our challenges,” she affirmed. Funding opportunities had been spotlighted in energy (severely green hydrogen), agriculture, mining, oil and gasoline. Additionally, Her Excellency underscored the importance of price addition, calling for increased local processing and beneficiation to strengthen economic whisper.
The discussion board opened with welcoming remarks from Hon. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of Ministry of International Relations and Trade , who described Namibia as “the hidden jewel of Africa” and strengthened the authorities’s dedication to gender fairness and innovation.
NIPDB CEO Dr. Nangula Nelulu Uaandja outlined strategic reforms and emerging sectors luxuriate in tourism and the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI), together with: “Namibia is well-positioned to attract strategic partnerships that will drive sustainable economic growth.”
A excessive-level panel, moderated by Ms. Margareth Gustavo, Govt of Competitiveness and Branding at NIPDB, featured Mr. Ben Nangombe Govt Director at Ministry of Mines and Energy – NAMIBIA , Mr. Gregory Swartz Director at Walvis Bay Salt , Ms. Angelique Peake Head of Oil and Gas, Energy and Sources at RMB – Rand Carrier provider Monetary institution Namibia and Ms. Beatrice Bienvenu Nation Manager of Chevron Namibia. The discussion echoed Namibia’s concentrate on price addition, funding-friendly insurance policies, and innovative financing solutions.
