McDonald’s Japan previewed a unique role of commercials for its Substantial Mac “Let’s smile the next day, then and now” campaign on Friday. The commercials characteristic iconic scenes from Eighties anime Maison Ikkoku, The Tremendous Dimension Fortress Macross: Attain You Keep in mind Be pleased?, and Kimagure Orange Avenue. The commercials furthermore revive Japan’s Eighties Coca-Cola jingle “I include Coke” by Daisuke Inoue.
