Amazon Top Japan announced on June 8 that CITY The Animation, the television anime of Keiichi Arawi‘s CITY manga, will solely stream on the Amazon Top Video carrier worldwide.
The collection will stream on Amazon Top Video in Japan on July 7 at 12:30 a.m. JST.
An official English X/Twitter myth for the anime is streaming a video with English subtitles, and unearths the collection will debut outdoors Japan on July 6 U.S. time. Amazon’s list of the anime states the anime can hold subtitles in 19 languages and audio in nine languages.

Tamami Tokuyama (animation director for Sound! Euphonium: Ensemble Contest Arc, key animator for Liz and the Blue Chicken) is credited as both the persona designer and chief animation director. Shiori Yamazaki (background artwork for Violet Evergarden: The Movie, Sound! Euphonium The Movie – Our Promise: A Stamp Fresh Day) is the artwork director. Additionally, Kana Miyata is the colour designer, Hiroki Ueda is the director of photography, Tatsunori Kase is the 3D director, and Yōta Tsuruoka is the sound director. The members of the quartet Piranhans are composing the anime’s tune. Pony Canyon is responsible of tune production.
Singer-songwriter Riho Furui performs the outlet theme song “Hello,” and singer-songwriter TOMOO performs the ending theme song “Lucky.”

Arawi (Nichijou, Helvetica Customary) launched the manga in Kodansha‘s Morning magazine in September 2016, and ended the collection in February 2021. Kodansha published the 13th and closing compiled e book volume in April 2021.

The manga returned in Kodansha‘s Morning magazine on December 12.
