Contributors magazine reported on Friday that Esteem Me to Death, the romance fantasy webtoon created by Toonimated co-founders Julian Jauregui and Tara Mueller, is officially getting a graphic new adaptation. Small, Brown Ink — an brand of Small, Brown Books for Younger Readers — will release the first volume on January 13, 2026. A 2d volume is map to apply in 2027.
Firstly launched in July 2022, the webtoon’s story reads:
A lonely necromancer named Victor is hired to resurrect a prosperous man’s bride. Victor accepts, hoping to bag the job performed rapid, ideal to obtain himself magically entangled with the bride and groom and caught within the middle of more romance than he is conscious of what to lift out with.
The sequence centers on a polyamorous relationship between a prosperous patron, his deceased bride, and a necromancer named Victor who brings her support to lifestyles. Esteem Me to Death has amassed over 31 million views and bigger than 551,000 subscribers. The webtoon is anticipated to lift out in topple 2025.
