The Japan Academy Film Prize Affiliation announced the winners of the 48th annual Japan Academy Film Prizes in a ceremony on the Huge Prince Resort New Takanawa in Tokyo on Friday. Peek Encourage won both the Simplest Bright Film award and the Inventive Contribution award for its key and in-between animation workers. Peek Encourage competed for Simplest Bright Film against Mobile Scoot well with Gundam Seed FREEDOM, HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Strive against (Gekijōban Haikyu!! Gomi Suteba no Kessen), Case Closed: The Million-greenback Pentagram (Detective Conan: Hyakuman Doru no Michishirube), and Give It All (Ganbatte Ikimasshoi).
No subject shedding the Image of the one year award to A Samurai in Time, Kingdom: Taishogun no Kikan (the fourth are living-motion Kingdom film) picked up five awards for Simplest Supporting Actor (Takao Osawa as Ō Ki/Wang Qi), Simplest Cinematography (Akira Sako), Simplest Lighting fixtures (Hiroyuki Kase), Simplest Sound Recording (Kazushiko Yokono), and the Particular Award for its VFX crew.
Hiroko Sebu got the Simplest Music award for Let’s Scoot Karaoke! Masumi Miura won for Simplest Manufacturing Design on the are living-motion Cells at Work! film.
The affiliation known Rihito Itagaki (Hakkenden, Cells at Work!, Onmyōji Zero), Asuka Saitō (Oshi no Ko -The Final Act-), Jun Saito (Let’s Scoot Karaoke!), and Anna Yamada (Golden Kamuy, Shōtai) with the Simplest New Actor awards. Golden Kamuy‘s production designers moreover got the Inventive Contribution award.
The affiliation previously announced that the leisurely Doraemon train actresses Noriko Ohara and Nobuyo Ōyama would both receive Particular Awards. The leisurely actor Toshiyuki Nishida equally got the Particular Award of Honour from the Affiliation.
Motion photos had been eligible if they opened in Japan between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.
Closing year, Godzilla Minus One won, amongst other awards, Image of the one year, and Hayao Miyazaki‘s The Boy and the Heron (Kimi-tachi wa Dō Ikiru ka) won the Simplest Bright Film award. Hiromi Uehara won the Simplest Music award for the Blue Huge film.
