The United International locations in Uganda has today launched a joint emergency appeal to increase funds for the comprehensive three-month (March-Might maybe also 2025) USD 11.2 million response conception in support of the nationwide response efforts against the Ebola virus illness which became detected in the nation in January 2025.
“This emergency appeal in support of Uganda’s response to the Ebola, gifts joint actions deliberate by the UN Nation Workforce in Uganda and eight humanitarian international non-governmental organizations (INGOs). The appeal is for USD 11.2 million, of which, USD 4.6 million has been mobilized by UN companies and international non government organizations (INGOs) repurposing their obtainable resources. I am hopeful that we are going to be ready to shut the hole, with support from companions,” acknowledged Mr. Leonard Zulu, the UN Resident Coordinator in Uganda.

As of 3 March 2025, there had been ten (10) confirmed instances, including two (2) deaths. Contacts of the final case are being investigated.
