The team for the are living-trot television sequence of Masakazu Katsura‘s Wingman manga revealed three extra solid people for the denizens of Podreams and a unusual 60-2d trailer on Saturday.

The newly launched solid people are (from left to valid in the photography above):
- Akio Ōtsuka as Rimel, the emperor who principles all of Podreams and who’s after the Dream Show in Aoi’s fingers
- Haruka Tomatsu as The Shiva, an assassin dispatched to Earth by Rimel
- Tomokazu Seki as Dr. Lark, Aoi’s father and the developer of the Dream Show

The sequence will open airing on October 22 at 24:30 (effectively, October 23 at 12:30 a.m.) to celebrate the sequence’ fortieth anniversary, with unusual episodes every Tuesday. The sequence can even plod on the DMM TV carrier per week prior, foundation on October 16. TV Tokyo and Toei Video are producing in collaboration with DMM TV.

Kōichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Ultraman Ginga S) is directing the sequence. Yoshitatsu Yamada (are living-trot Video Lady Ai, He is Hopeful for), Masaki Nishigaki (are living-trot Sayonara, Excessive School), and Yuya Nakazono (episode scripts for Bono Bono, Japan Sinks: 2020) are penning the scripts for the sequence.
Rock band BLUE ENCOUNT is performing the opening theme song “chang[e].”
Wingman follows tokusatsu (special results) nerd Kenta Hirono, a 2d-year heart college pupil who dreams of turning into a hero. One day, a mysterious lady named Aoi from the realm of Podreams looks to be earlier than him. After sketching his superhero Wingman on the girl’s Dream Notebook, he’s ready to radically change into the hero and turns into eager on a war between upright and execrable.
The sequence inspired an anime adaptation in 1984.
Katsura launched the sequence in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Soar in 1983. It ended serialization in 1985.
Many of Katsura’s manga sequence salvage inspired anime and are living-trot adaptations, including Video Lady Ai, DNA², I’s, Wingman, and Zetman. He has also offered persona designs for such anime as Tiger & Bunny, Iria – Zeiram the Animation, The Lady in Twilight, Double Decker! Doug & Kirill, and Garo: Crimson Moon.
