Hitomi Takano announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday that the Gene Bride manga will finish in subsequent month’s field of Shodensha‘s Primarily feel Young magazine.
Seven Seas publishes the sequence in English and describes the story:
Isahaya Ichi is uninterested with males, a woman navigating a global where she’s underestimated at work thanks to her gender and sexually harassed. However when her customary classmate, Masaki, impulsively presentations up, everything modifications. He claims to be the diversified half of of her “destined pair” from a junior high faculty tournament called “Gene Bride,” where genetic information matched students into couples for a day. Whereas Ichi barely remembers the tournament, Masaki’s surprising reappearance sparks a dart of rediscovery and buried secrets.
Takano launched the sequence in Shodensha‘s Primarily feel Young magazine in June 2021. Shodensha shipped the third compiled e book quantity on February 8.
Takano launched the My Boy manga in Futabasha‘s Monthly Motion magazine in 2015, then moved the manga to Young Magazine in 2018. The manga ended in October 2021. Vertical releases the manga in English.
The manga ranked #2 on Takarajimasha‘s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2017 checklist of top manga for male readers. The manga used to be also nominated for the tenth Manga Taisho awards in 2017.
