IFC Douala Country Office:
The Douala Country Office oversees and coordinates IFC’s activities in the Central Africa Sub-region, which includes Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Republic of Congo, and Sao Tome & Principe.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Document Management:
Ensure quality control of internal and external documents.Assist in drafting, editing, formatting, and producing documents and correspondence.Scheduling and Coordination:
Coordinate schedules, monitor changes, and communicate updates.Assist in preparing conferences, seminars, workshops, and related logistics. Administrative Support:
Maintain distribution lists, contact information, and project files.Handle vendor communications and travel logistics.Provide primary assistance to the Finance officer, including SAP-related operations.Back-up other administrative staff as needed.Team Collaboration:
Work effectively within a multi-cultural team.
Respond to diverse situations with good judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
Selection Criteria:
Education & Experience:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or college diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large international organization.
Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.High attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards under pressure.Proven ability to work in team-oriented, multi-cultural environments.Effective analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills in English and French.Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, One Drive, and ability to learn new software quickly.Interpersonal Skills:
