Role Description
We are looking for lawyers for our offices in Douala, Lagos and Abidjan.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lawyer (Business and Corporate Law) to provide legal support to the firm’s clients, draft legal documents, conduct research, and assist with contract negotiation and review.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Private Law or higher in LawWorking knowledge of OHADA Uniform Acts and local laws and regulations Ready to adapt to different legal systemsProactivity and ability to take initiativeMust be self-motivated and capable of starting and leading projects from conception to completionStrong legal research and writing skillsStrong understanding of Business, Corporate and Finance LawDemonstrated experience drafting legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and memosExperience with contract review and negotiationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluency in English and French, both written and spokenBar Admission in Cameroon or Nigeria or Cote d’Ivoire2 years of significant professional experience in a Law firm or institution
