responsible for monitoring the implementation and quality of activities for
the prevention, detection and treatment of malnutrition in the project
intervention areas. He/she will ensure that the training and capacity-building
needs of field staff are addressed in a timely manner.
Ensure a good understanding of the different activities of INTERSOS and
establish good relations with all project stakeholders in the intervention
areas under the supervision of the Project Manager;
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, ensure regular and active
presence at technical and general meetings at the local level (in all
localities where the project is implemented);
Ensure the collection and quality of shared information under the control
of the Project Manager;
Under the supervision of the Project Manager and following the
communication charter, ensure effective and timely communication with WFP
staff on field operations;
Train CHWs/relays/focal points on malnutrition screening;
Support the training of beneficiaries on malnutrition screening;
Provide support to the teams on the organization of the work and monitor
and evaluate the achievement;
Follow up on and ensure referral of children with SAM to care structures
jointly with community actors;
Coordinate with MEAL officer and Reporting Assistant on the monthly
monitoring and reporting of home visits and community screenings;
In collaboration with the Project Manager, participate in the development
of the operational strategy for all field work on Nutrition, including
community mobilization; – Coordinates payment procedures, including
documentation and reporting to ensure accountability to the donor and the
organization;
